Why the Name “Old Dog Coffee Company”

Old Dog Coffee Company was established in 2025 with a name unique to coffee service. “Old Dog” was implemented into the name based the owner’s family dog, a 14 year old Chocolate Lab and his personal dog, Jazmine who is a 4 year old rescued Pitbull Mix. Despite the age difference they are always at the door to greet you when you get home and brighten your mood. The name seemed to fit the company because of the love we share for dogs and the happiness they can impart on people’s lives.

Meet the Owner

Jordan is a full-time chiropractor and coffee enthusiast who founded Old Dog Coffee Company in 2025 to combine a passion for quality and bringing people together. He is the owner of a rescued dog, Jazmine, one of the inspirations behind the company’s name and values. On the weekends, he volunteers at Anita’s Stevens Swan Humane Society and promotes dog adoption. Jordan grew up in Utica, NY and looks forward to sharing his passion for coffee with Utica and surrounding areas.

Our Coffee

We are proudly serving Partners Coffee located in Brooklyn, NY due to their commitment to quality and emphasis on building connections. After testing many roasters over the course of months, Partners Coffee stood out in consistency and flavor. We use their Flatiron espresso beans that deliver tasting notes of dark chocolate, praline, and dates.
